SLEEP & ROUTINES

The most common advice everyone told me, when we found out we were expecting twins, was to establish a routine on day one.

You can find EXACT routines we've used from infant through elementary school here.

9 years later... having a consistent routine is an effortless part of raising three kids, and the most important thing I we all can't live without.

Because we follow a simple routine, when difficult behavior or big emotions strike, I can pinpoint the exact moment things went awry and start mending things.

Now, my kids use easy-to-follow picture routine cards to complete tasks and chores  ALL ON THEIR OWN, which means no nagging or reminding from me.

Plus, science backs up the importance of routine for kids who thrive because of the safety and better sleep habits a familiar schedule gives them.

And you can't argue with science, right?

With so many unpredictable changes children experience early in life, learn how to create a predictable routine as the foundation for their youth.
