I grab any chance I can, to put a new keepsake from the kids in the memory books. This is one of my absolute favorite ways to kick off the New Year, with the 2018 Year in Review Printable for kids.

I love sitting around the dinner table with the kids and rehashing our best memories of the year when one year closes and a new one begins.

It’s always the simplest things that hold a special place in their hearts like a fishing trip or learning how to ride their bikes, camping in the backyard and a best time at a swim meet.

It’s always the little things that they remember, and this is why I love hearing it from the mouths of my little babies.

I tell myself to remember these meaningful moments, but the truth is, baby brain has never really left me and unless I have them write it down, in a couple of years, I’ll easily have forgotten.

That’s why the Year in Review is not only a sweet walk down memory lane, but also an opportunity for a memorable, and sometimes funny, keepsake to have for decades down the road.

I know when my kids are grown, these are the simple pieces I’ll cherish from their childhood and time spent around the table talking.

2019 is here, and you’ll want to download this Year in Review sheet, print it and sit around the table with your kids and jot it all down to keep.

Psst… there’s also an adult version where you can also put your big dreams and goals for the new year on paper too.

When you look back, you’ll be amazed at how fast your kids have changed even over a year – but you have to record it first so you can see these changes for yourself!

Snag your printable Year in Review (includes a girl, boy and adult printable for everyone in your home.)
